Though I'm completely devoid of specifics and certainly don't have the clout in the industry to seem credible, I have it from a very solid source that Harry Potter 7, Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows, will be not one but TWO films released 6 months apart from each other. This has been confirmed from earlier rumors of the split-up in order to better tell the story.

Reportedly, a script is still being developed, but the back-to-back plan is already in the schedule at Warner Bros. A recent statement by author J.K. Rowling's website herself claimed that "It is simply impossible to incorporate every storyline into a film under four hours long".

Mind you, this last in the series is still a ways off. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is due for release in November.
