Hayes Leaves South Park

According to the Associated Press, 70’s soul artist Isaac Hayes quit
his 9 year stint as the sultry voice of Chef on Comedy Central’s South
Park, citing a loss of tolerance for the show’s satirical take on
religion. Hayes says the show has crossed the line between satire and
bigotry towards religious beliefs and will no longer lend his voice to
the popular character.

Show creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker lashed back a response. “He
