Xbox Shooter for the Mobile Platform

Early 2003, an independent developer by the name of Playlogic
announced their upcoming action shooter title, Xyanide. Due out for the
holidays, Xyanide was a space shooter, playing along the lines of
R-Type or Xevious utlizing 3D environments and ships. It was touted to
be the first shooter of thie style for the Xbox.

Sadly, no
shooter. We’re quickly closing in on the holiday season for 2004 and
haven’t see the game. Playlogic has however released screenshots for
the game, but for the mobile platform. How this will actually play on a
cell phone is yet to be seen, but the screenshots we received had
potential, even on the tiniest of screens.
