Firefly Finds a New Home

To the delight of many devote fans of Joss Whedon’s Firefly,
the show has been “picked up” by the Sci-Fi channel. The unfamilar, can
be explained to simple folk, it’s a combination of sci-fi &
western, supported by excellent writing from the creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel television series.

The good news is that the episodes that were never aired, currently only available on the Firefly DVD box set. This is all mainly to help publicize the upcoming Firefly movie, Serenity,
which takes place after the last unaired episdoe. The bad news is that
the is no mention of new episodes. As it stands now, fans debate wether
Fox will allow Sci-Fi to produce new episodes or how much it will cost
Sci-Fi.
