New Disney CEO Named

Yesterday Disney announced that Robert A. Iger, current President and
Chief Operation Officer of Walt Disney, has been named the successor to
Michael Eisner. Eisner will retire in September and Iger will take over
from there. Iger has been in his current position since 2000 and is
also a current member of the board of directors. This decision was
reached unanimously by the board and they feel it is the right
direction to take Disney.

There is no word yet on how Pixar feels about this new CEO and none
will probably be there for awhile. Hopefully this will be a positive
change that will bring Pixar back to Disney.
