WGA Winners

On Saturday the Writer’s Guild of America, WGA, announced their winners for best scripts of 2003. These were a little bit less of a shock then the SAG Awards that were announced on Sunday.

Sophia Coppola took home the award for Best Original Screenplay for “Lost in Translation” and Robert Pulcini & Shari Springer Berman got the award for Best Adapted Screenplay for “American Splendor.”

Both of these films are also nominated in the same categories for the coveted Oscar that will be telecast on Sunday February 29th.
