X-Men 3 Loses Another Director

Quickly becoming the bastard film in Hollywood, X-Men 3 lost its second
helmer, Matthew Vaughn to “personal reasons” according to the Hollywood
Reporter.

2 directors down and not a 3rd in sight, the 3rd in the succesful
series of comic-book films is in danger of disappearing unless 20th
Century Fox can find a director willing to take up the slack and has
the talent not to disappoint an already strong fan base. Most will
remember the film’s original director, Bryan Singer, left after the
opportunity to direct the new Superman movie was presented to him.

Where does that leave Prof X and his team of mutants? Fox is being
tight lipped, but the ease with which they signed Vaughn and the buzz
the film has already generated (most recently having signed Kelsey
Grammar as the voice of Best), it should be a breeze to find a new
captain for this still-floating ship.
