Quantum Leap: Season 2

Honestly, the presentation of the 2nd season is a bit of a disappointment. First off, the box distinctly lists “Bonus Material”, of which there is none. The most they give you is are chapter stops, episode list, episodes descriptions & decent video quality for a series of the late eighties. Not only that, but the discs are double-sided (something I haven’t seen done in a long time). Lastly, due to what I’m guess is legal issues, some music has been changed. Although this would normally be okay, the season finale episode has a distinct & emotional scene that has Ray Charles singing “Georgia”. As is the song a credit to Ray Charles, it was an important touch to the scene and now the scene doesn’t have the emotional punch it had before.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m a big fan of the show. This a review on the DVD collection itself. Universal severely dropped the ball & just phoned in the putting to DVD of such a good television series.
