Alice Freakin Cooper Coming to Rock Band 2

I don’t often get the girly giggles, being that it’s a full time job to keep up what little manliness I actually posses, but my outer geek collided with my inner fan boy when I read that rock legend Alice Cooper would be making an appearance on EA’s Rock Band 2 next week.

Cooper (who’s Muppet Show episode is arguably one of the best ever) is coming to the consoles with double trifecta (that’s six) DLC tracks for the PS3 and Xbox360. 4 tracks are from live recordings: “Under My Wheels”, “I’m Eighteen”, “Billion Dollar Babies” and “School’s Out”. The other two are “Poison” and one of his latest hits “Vengeance is Mine”.

If that weren’t enough, modern rock artists Taking Back Sunday releases a 3 pack as well: “What’s It Feel Like to Be a Ghost”, “Liar” and “MakeDamnSure”, all from original master recordings.

360 owners can purchase tracks starting Tuesday, May 19th and PS3 owners can snag them on Thursday the 21st.
