CoD Beta Anyone?

Back in June, Activision fired off a warning shot about their next shooter, Call of Duty: World At War, would be hitting shelves late fall. Our circle of gamers was a little… disappointed to see them fall back to yet another WWII scenario, preferring the more current weapons and vehicles of the Modern Combat title.

At any rate, CoD:WaW has been taking shape over the past few months and the promise of online co-op is welcome news to ethernet soldiers. This morning, Activision and developer Treyarch announced a public beta for both PC and Xbox 360, deploying out in October. Anyone interested needs to register on their site at http://www.callofduty.com via the dog tags in the upper right.
