Marvel Vs Capcom 2 – Teaser 2
It’s hard to contain the excitement amongst us old school gamers around here. The buzz around Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 is creating a ripple of flashbacks to Saturdays at the arcade and more recently at home with my beloved Dreamcast.
Capcom’s first teaser vid for a port to Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network demanded quite a bit of attention, so it only makes sense to drop another one onto the net. This time, with more 80’s hair band. The nerdiest of us will instantly recognize the theme “The Touch” from The Transformers animated flic. Talk about nostalgia.
MvC features over 50 fighters in 3 on 3 tag team matches, an enhanced visual ‘filter’ for Hi-Def gameplay and the popular Quarter Match online mode that pits two players against each other with up to four others watching and waiting in line to take the winner in the next match.
Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix was something of a dissapointment, but MvC looks like it might change my mind for classic arcade-turned-console fighters.
