Star Wars Trivial Pursuit DVD

GamingReport.com posts that Milton Bradley will release a new Trivial Pursuit DVD edition containing questions from the Star Wars Saga. We’re assuming the use of Saga means that it will contain questions from all six films, but no details have been leaked. Reportedly the board game will show up shortly after Episode 3 begins its theatre run, but we were unable to confirm the report with Hasbro (MB’s parent company) or with Lucasfilm marketing.

Real or not, would you buy one? Fans found the original Star Wars Trivial Pursuit of ’95 incredibly easy and somewhat narrow minded, only including questions from the films and leaving out comics, television, books and video games based on the series. Collectors might be on board, but one individual on GamingReport makes a good point:

“How can you make a trivia game that is going to outdate itself everytime Lucas decides to revise his own story? No thanks – I’m tired of feeding the cash cow.”

Wisdom for the ages.
