Family Guy Back by Popular Demand
Yesterday, Gail Berman, President, Entertainment
for the Fox Broadcasting Co. announced that Family Guy
is back by popular demand
with all-new episodes beginning Sunday, May 1 (9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT) on
FOX. The show originally premiered in 1999 and was eventually
cancelled, but after going into syndication on several channels and DVD
sales it has gathered a loyal following of devoted fans.
Creator/executive producer Seth MacFarlane will continue to serve up
the distinctively twisted and irreverently outrageous trials and
tribulations of Peter Griffin and his not-quite-so-average
family of middle-class New Englanders.
It will be great to finally see some new episodes for this show that I have grown to love.
