According the AP and Yahoo News, Nickelodeon and BMG Records are partnering to create a new record label. It’s first album will be feature children’s songs, naturally, from the early morning pre-school show Dora the Explorer. Another album featuring the Rugrats characters will be out in October for the holidays.
Executives are hoping the label will help Nick’s live action stars with their singing careers, such as Hilary Duff and Drake Bell. Consumers are hoping for an absence of anti-piracy ads from a yellow sponge with eyes.
