63rd Annual Golden Globe Awards Announced
Last night in Los Angeles all of Hollywood’s finest got all dressed up
to attend the Golden Globe Awards. Brokeback Mountain and Walk the Line
stole the evening with the most awards. This is a good indicator for
the Oscars. Other film winners include Syriana, Memoirs of a Geisha and
Transamerica. As for the television categories there was no clear front
runner. Several different shows only received one award while Empire
Falls, a made for TV movie, walked away with two awards. Other shows
that won include Desperate Housewives for Best Comedy TV Series and
Lost for Best Drama TV Series. Both of these shows are experiencing
huge success in their sophomore years.
