Brosnon Say "NO" to 007
Pierce Brosnan tells Entertainment Weekly that he’s done with the James Bond franchise. This will open the door for possible replacements, but none are officially announced or being looked at right now.
“That’s it,” says the now former 007, “I’ve said all I’ve got to say on the world of James Bond.” He says that Die Another Day will be his last Bond film and he’s not returning for a fifth movie. “Bond is another lifetime, behind me.”
Sean Connery quit the James Bond franchise as well, before he was lured back for bigger bucks by England-based Eon productions, which produces the 007 films. If this doesn’t happen, the company will have to find another actor to fill the role for “James Bond 21,” scheduled for a November 18, 2005 release.
I think Brosnon will succumb to money, but if he doesn’t then I suggest Clive Owen, who just starred in King Arthur. It’s not like Eon Productions will listen to me though.
