Production for “Terminator 4” has been scheduled to begin in 2005. Arnold Schwarzenegger has not officially joined the team, yet, and the T3 Screenwriting team John D. Brancato and Michael Ferris (Catwoman, The Game, The Net) are wrapping up the script. T3 director Jonathan Mostow (T3, U-571, Breakdown) may rejoin this production as well.
Zombie flick writer / director George Romero will return with his latest “Land of the Dead,” staring Simon Baker (Book of Love, L.A. Confidential), Asia Argento (XXX), John Leguizamo (Moulin Rouge!, Carlito’s Way), and Dennis Hopper (Speed, True Romance).
Writer Scott Frank (Get Shorty, Minority Report) will try his hands at directoring in Dreamwork’s “The Lookout.”
Singer Usher Raymond has been signed to start in an as yet untitled rag-to-riches rapper style flick.
Singer 50 Cent (Curtis Jackson) will jump into the rapper turned actor ring with “Locked and Loaded.”
Model Amie Jenkinson will make her acting debut in the “Bloodstained Gods.”
Laura Linney (Love Actually, Mystic River) and Tom Wilkinson (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Shakespeare in Love) have joined director Scott Derrickson’s “The Exorcism of Anneliese Michel.”
Michael De Luca (A Man Apart, Sim0ne, Blade II) and Paramount Pictures has picked up the unfinished novel, “Last One In.”
Paramount Pictures has picked up the film rights to Midway Games’ “Fear & Respect.”
