Daily Casting Report – 1/21/2005

Queen Latifah (Taxi, The Barbershop Series, Chicago) and Emma Thompson (Love Actually, Sense and Sensibility) have joined Will Ferrell (Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Elf, Old School) and Maggie Gyllenhaal (Mona Lisa Smile, 40 Days and 40 Nights) in “Stranger Than Fiction,” for director Marc Forster (Finding Neverland, Monster’s Ball).

Wes Bentley (The Four Feathers, American Beauty) will join Nicolas Cage (National Treasure, Adaptation) in “Ghost Rider,” a film directed by Mark Steven Johnson (Daredevil, Simon Birch) and a script penned by Shane Salerno (Shaft, Armageddon).

Dennis Quaid (In Good Company, Cold Creek Manor) will star in the remake of “Yours, Mine and Ours,” with Raja Gosnell (Scooby Doo Series, Never Been Kissed) in negotiations to direct.
