Annette Bening (Open Range, American Beauty, Bugsy) is set to star in “Running With Scissors,” a script adapted by Ryan Murphy (TV’s “Nip/Tuck” – creator), who will also direct the film.
Chow Yun-Fat (Bulletproof Monk, Anna and the King) will other new additions, such as Keith Richards (The Rolling Stone), in next “Pirates of the Caribbean” sequels. Fat and Richards join Johnny Depp (Finding Neverland), Orlando Bloom (Troy), Geoffrey Rush (Shakespeare in Love), and Keira Knightley (Love Actually).
Rumor Romps:
Terry Gilliam (Monty Python) was quoted recently as saying he still has plans to create a film about Don Quixote, for star Johnny Depp (Finding Neverland). Gilliam says, “I don’t know. We’re still trying to rescue Quixote from the clutches of the former Production Company and Insurance Company. Johnny Depp is in London. We keep talking about Quixote, and we keep talking about Good Omens.”
Sarah Polley (Dawn of the Dead, Go) and Chris O’Donnell (The Bachelor, Batman and Robin) are in negotiations to costar in “Cock & Bull,” for director Matt Nix (Me and the Big Guy), who also adapted the screenplay from the Novel.
Harrison Ford (K-19: The Widowmaker, Indiana Jones Series) has announced that he is considering a staring role in a production based on the upcoming book, “No True Glory: The Battle for Fallujah.”
