Golden Globe Awards Announced in Hollywood

Tonight in Hollywood the Hollywood Foreign Press presented their 62nd
Annual Golden Globe Awards. This is the first show that usually kicks
off the award season…and this year it did it with a bang. Between the
different outfits to the winners it was an ecclectic year With no one
movie dominating. The big winner was The Aviator with three wins
followed by Million Dollar Baby, Sideways, and Closer each with two.
This definetly shows that it will be a good Oscar Season. The highlight
of the show was definetly Jamie Foxx’s speech when he won for his role
as Ray Charles in Ray for Best Actor. Robin Williams was honored with
the annual Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award. It was great
listening to his speech and seeing such a great man that spans soo many
genres to get such a great award. As for TV it was a year for the
freshman shows with shows like Desperate Housewives and Deadwood
takeing acting awards. Below you will find the winners in each category.
