Harry Potter 3 rumors

There are rumors around the actual release date of June 4, 2004 for Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Since Van Helsing has moved out of the May 21st date to May 4th it has opened up a critical holiday weekend. Currently Warner Brothers is tossing around the idea of moving to that weekend so that they can have the movie out for Memorial Day weekend.

This would be a wise movie for Warner Brothers, especially since the first two movies opened at Thanksgiving, which guaranteed them the extra grosses. The move is not yet official, but I have it from a rather reliable source that it will be announced soon…sorry I can’t tell you who.
