Matrix Mania in the UK
Starting Wednesday 2nd February (that’s how the British write dates, weird huh?) the country’s only Sci-Fi film festival will stage an all night Matrix Marathon.
Sponsored by Red Bull and Ben & Jerry’s, the 9 hour film festival will feature the 3 Matrix movies in addition to The Animatrix’s animated shorts that tie into the feature films.
Londonites can begin buying tickets starting Januray 5th by visiting http://www.curzoncinemas.com. The festival will then move on to 4 additional cities: Edinburgh (Feb.19th), York (Feb 26th), Liverpool (March 5th) and Exeter (March 12th). Free coffee will be provided to attendees in an attempt to keep them awake.
