Paramount cutting back on Treks

Word around the campfire is that Paramount and UPN are going to cut their losses on the Enterprise series. Reports state that they are only going to produce 24 episodes for the 4th season. 24 – not a full season of 26 – episodes would bring the grand total of Enterprise episodes to over 100. This is the magic number for a show to enter into syndication.

According to sources, this will be the first Star Trek Season to not produce 26 episodes in over 20 years. Why cut it 2 short for the season? Slash and burn!

I haven’t watched more than three episodes of Enterprise, and I have to admit, the third time it was only background noise while I was loading Linux onto my laptop.
