Passion Update

Gibson reportedly told The New York Times that he would delete a controversial scene from his upcoming movie The Passion of the Christ. The scene that will be deleted before it hits theatres on Ash Wednesday, Feb. 25th, focuses on the idea that the Jews were being blamed for the death of Jesus. In several focus screenings, mainly of priests and ministers, the scene was said to be too harsh and might be taken in the wrong context.

On a higher note, the official running time for the movie has been announced to only be around 2 hours and 10 minutes…which is far less then most bibilical histories.

Tickets are also on sale at several locations. If you plan on seeing it opening week I would get your tickets soon because there are a lot of groups that are trying to get tickets too and the shows should fill up quickly.
