SAG Nominations Announced Today

The nominees for the 12th Annual SAG Awards were announced this morning
in Los Angeles. The Screen Actors Guild (SAG) holds this awards show
annually to honor the outstanding performances of 2005. The guild
honors and votes for its own members for these awards. This is one of
the main precursors to the culminating event of awards season, Oscar
Night. Since SAG votes and honors its own they are usually unbiased and
vote on performance rather then politics.

The show will air on Sunday January 29th, just two days before the
Oscar nominees are announced. Below is a complete list of nominees.
