The Simpsons Hit the Big Screen
Now in it’s record breaking 17th season, The Simpsons animated sitcom will finally be hitting the big screen in 2007. Speculation about a feature film is nothing new, but a 20 second teaser attached to Dreamworks Picture’s Ice Age 2 this weekend (along with Garfield 2….God help us) concretes expectations.
In addition, last night’s show ended in a quick tease of the flic portraying homer as Superman. Tentative release from Fox is July 27, 2007. According to various reports (Yahoo! News, AICN) the voice actors from the series are under contract for the feature film and according to USA Today several guests have been slated including Albert Brooks, Minnie Driver and the real life Erin Brockovich.
Apple has been kind enough to host the teaser for us (well, maybe not JUST us, but they have it nonetheless).
