WB Home Video Announces Goonies 25th Anniversary Collector’s Edition

Today WBHV announced that on November 2nd, they’ll be releasing a big 25th anniversary version of the 80’s classic The Goonies. Other than the new HD transfer and lossless audio, the contents of the disc doesn’t contain anything new (commentary, deleted scenes, trailer and a behind the scenes documentary).

Included in the box is a number of collector’s items including storyboard prints, a 1985 souvenir magazine and a reprint of a 2009 article that updates you on the whole cast as well as Steven Spielberg and Richard Donner. An odd thing that’s included is a “exciting new board game”, so buyer beware.The Blu-ray and DVD will should list for $49.99 and $39.99 respectively. Pack shot included.
