X-Men: First Class Trailer Released
Marvel announced some months back that they would be jumping on the prequel bandwagon to give non-comic aficionados a peek at how the rift between Professor X and Magneto came to be, how the mutant school was founded and, apparently, how the Cuban Missile Crisis fits into all of it.
No doubt about it, this doesn’t look half bad. Beast (a.k.a. Hank McCoy) piloting an SR-71 Blackbird? Freakin awesome! Magneto yanking a submarine from the ocean? SWEET! Mystique sexing it up? No complaints here. I’m even kinda diggin on the old school yellow and black jumpsuits, but I can’t help but think of The Silk Spectre from The Watchmen.
