In a somewhat complicated movie to follow, Kate Hudson (Isabel) and Naomi Watts (Roxy) play two American sisters who are living in France. Isabel has recently moved to France to help her sister out during her divorce. Roxy is pregnant when her French husband leaves her for a Russian woman. The sisters have Sunday lunch in the country with Roxy
