Awesomenauts Announced for E3
German based DTP Entertainment and Ronimo Games today announce Awesomenauts, a new title for a new genre they’ve dubbed Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA). The Xbox Live Arcade and Playstation Network title combines classic platformer gameplay with multiplayer fighting and a visual style inspired by the cartoons of the 80’s.
Awesomenauts falls into the vein of Super Smash Bros Brawl or the oft lauded Power Stone of Dreamcast lore. We’ve seen plenty of SmashTV copycats from the online services, but brawlers are few and far between.
We expect to see more and get our hands on the title at E3 in a few weeks.
