The Touch Now Available for Guitar Hero
Just about every child of the 80’s remembers the Transformers animated movie. It featured a well loved cartoon character swearing, then dying AND it featured one of the biggest Rock Ballads of all time… uh… that is, of all time ever used in an animated movie.
Stan Bush belted out “The Touch” to an audience of pre-teens who grew up to be gamers. What better way to honor that than to release the track as a Guitar Hero World Tour DLC track. Starting today, log in to your chosen system’s marketplace and pick up “The Touch” for free. As an added bonus, gamers can participate in an online tourney beginning Friday, May 29th (4pm EDT) and ending Sunday, May 31st (8pm EDT) to compete for a chance to win an autographed Stan Bush CD that includes the newly remastered song.
And if that weren’t enough, to kick off E3 and promote their new title, Guitar Hero On Tour: Modern Hits, Activision is posting a free download of the Modern Hits theme song performed by S.U.P.R.A.H.U.M.A.N.- Protoshredanoid, a band comprised of members from the Vicarious Visions development team.
