Cordless Live! Headset

Xbox Live! players rejoice. Now when you chuck your controller across the room in anger at your last defeat, you won’t be taking your headset (and ears) with it. Logitech brings wireless freedom to online gamers with the aptly named Logitech Cordless Headset for Xbox. The over-the-ear ensemble is a stylish dark grey and silver number. Volume controls and a mute button are found right on the unit.

The headset works on a 2.4ghz frequency and with the combination of Logitech’s recent Cordless Precision Controller for the Xbox, you can be completely free of those burdnesome wires. BEWARE however, that most new cordless telephones, especially those with expandable handsets use this same frequency and WILL interfere.

The headset is officially licensed by Microsoft, will retail for a somewhat hefty $79.99 and should be out late this fall, just in time for Halo 2. 2 months of Xbox Live! will also be included with the package, free of charge.
