Dead Island gets in-game teaser

Dead Island has a way of getting your attention. The first, all cinematic, trailer is just as emotional as it is bloody, but doesn’t show much on the side of in-game graphics. Today’s entry resolves that without ditching the healthy dose of empathy we got from the first.

As you can see, Dead Island bears a strong resemblance to Far Cry blended with gallon or two of Dead Rising which could be very promising with a strong story line. Another trailer is due out soon in time for E3. We’ll be sure to post it once we get it.

Dead Island, for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, is due out later this year
