Dr. Strange, Nemesis Square Off in Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3

I wouldn’t normally associate Marvel’s Dr. Strange or Resident Evil’s Nemesis with Germany, but thanks to today gamescom 2011 announcement, I can’t help but imagine the two of them in lederhosen sippin down Guiness. The two will be making their fighting debuts in Ultimate Marvel cs. Capcom 3 this November.

MvC3 sold pretty well, so Capcom is doing what they can to lure existing owners into buying ANOTHER copy, promising new stages, up to 14 new characters (with DLC), a spectator mode and a lowered $39.99 price tag. One has to wonder (and indeed forum posts reflect the frustration) why an entirely new disc is required for options that make sense as downloadable content for the existing game.

Personally, I don’t know that I’m convinced.

For the time being, have a look at what you won’t be getting unless you pony up the extra dough in a couple months.
