More Doom 3

I dunno, does anyone else think that Doom 3 is easily go to be killed under the weight of it’s own hype? Doom (next to Wolfenstein) is the grandaddy of all first person shooters, and Doom 2 didn’t serve to disappoint in it’s time either, but the publicity surrounding Doom 3 and the “will it ever get here?” April 2004 release date is getting to leaving some to wonder. I saw the E3 demo and would be more impressed of the computer it takes to run the game moreso than the game itself.

That being said, for those of you not lucky enough to attend, you can now download the teaser and more at the official site: Doom3.com. Links to Gamestop and EB Games for preorder are also provided. Kinda funny how they use the Quake font on the site…
