Blog Schmlog
For me, having a blog wasn’t a necessity, but it was something I’d
wanted to say that I had. Few read it, and even fewer actually get any
actual insight from what I say. I write so in frequently that my words
of wisdom should have great worth, being not quite as rare as a four
leaf clover, but certainly more rare than an Xbox 360 at retail prices.
Unlike the 360 though, my words don’t carry a certainty of higher
availability. Still, I guess I write for me. I usually write about
gaming, work, and little nit-picky things I run across. I think of a
blog as something of a digital pensive, the magical bowl found in Harry
Potter novels that store one’s thoughts and memories so that one’s
brain doesn’t become overwhelmed.
I didn’t need to empty my head per-say, I just felt like typing a lot
of nothing between my fruitless search for the previously mentioned
console and doing actual work.
