Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil Series, The Fifth Element) has joined Billy Bob Thornton (Bad Santa, Pushing Tin, Sling Blade) and wirter / director Michael Cristofer (Die Hard: With a Vengeance) for “Fade Out.”
Singer Nick Lachey has signed up with Henry Thomas (I’m With Lucy, Suicide Kings), David Boreanaz (I’m with Lucy), Vera Farmiga (The Manchurian Candidate), Bruce Dern and Peter Weller (RoboCop) in the indie film “The Hard Easy,” being directed by Ari Ryan with a script by Jon Lindstrom and Tom Schanley.
Gavin O’Connor (Mad About Mambo) will join Jude Law (Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow,
Cold Mountain, The Talented Mr. Ripley) in “Dexterity,” a film penned by Karen Croner.
Vinton Studios has acquired the rights to Neil Gaiman’s book “Coraline.” Henry Selick (The Nightmare Before Christmas) penned the adaptation and is set to direct as well.
