Fahrenheit 9/11 Controversial Release

With lots of controversial media attention, Michael Moore’s Fahrenheit 9/11 is scheduled for theatrical release on June 25th. Just weeks ago Miramax decided to pick up the distribution rites for this and are now planning a quick release date, which in turn means a quick DVD release just before the Presidential election in November of this year. Miramax picked up the controversial documentary when Disney decided that they would not release the film even though it has won the Palme d’Or, the highest award of the Cannes film festival.

This documentary will be released on the most screens that a documentary has ever appeared on, 500-800. Posters are starting to arrive in theatres this upcoming week in hopes to draw attention. I have included them down below for all of you to see. The first image is of the controversial teaser poster that will be featured in this Sunday’s New York Times.
