Simpson Lands First Feature Role
Yahoo News officially reported today that the singer/ reality-show starlette will play Daisy Duke, a character popularized in the early 80’s television show, The Dukes of Hazard. Her co-stars thus far will be Seann William Scott and Johnny Knoxville as Daisy’s cousins Bo and Luke Duke in the coming feature film based on CBS’ action hit. Still to be cast are the roles of the Duke’s Uncle Jesse and the less than civil authorities, Boss Hogg and Sheriff Roscoe P. Coltrane.
Directing credits go to Jay Chandrasekhar, the man at the helm of the Broken Lizard movies, Super Troopers and Club Dread.
