Big Bounce, The

There is one reason, and one reason only to see this film, and that is to see Sara Foster wander around wearing close to nothing.

The movie is supposed to be about a washed up thief and the perfect job to heist $200,000 from his arch enemy, but it falls miserably short of any suspicion that you might have as to who is pulling whose strings. Just watching the trailer will tell you who is shamming who, and who ends up with the cash at the end.

The acting is just a step above reading cue cards behind the camera. Director George Armitage took every opportunity to put Foster in a bikini, and for this, I thank him. It made a close to unbearable movie much more enjoyable.

Owen Wilson’s character is just about as intelligent as light pole, and Charlie Sheen’s character adds some much needed comic relief to the story. Morgan Freeman seems out of place in this film.

There were a few moments that made me burst our laughing, but it they were few and far between, and almost forgotten by the end of the film, which didn’t seem to come quick enough.
