24 The Game Trailer Leaked

Fox’s hit television series, 24, is a shoe in for a video game
translation. Quick thinking, action and puzzle solving, it screams to
be made into a Splinter Cell type game.

Yesterday, a forumer on the movie-list forums
posted the username and password to a a directory on
PlayStationStudio’s website that contained a trailer for just such a
game, due out fall 2005. The trailer features the show’s star Keifer
Sutherland introducing and commenting on the detail developers have
been putting into the look and feel of the game. If the story meets the
standards the show has demonstrated, the game should provide more than
enough gameplay hours, as the overall mission must be completed in that
hallowed 24 hour timeframe. That being said, it’s hard to see much
replay value.

Still, the semi-real time concept, similar to Nintendo’s Majora’s Mask,
is intriguing and could spark several sequels. We’ll keep an eye on
this.
