Bandai America Sends Ghost in the Shell to Gold

Ghost in the Shell is on of the most popular Japanese Animated films of all time. Bandai hopes to bring the visual and story telling mastery of the films to PS2 owners this fally, November 8th, unusual for a game release but understandable, since Halo 2 hits shelves the following day.

Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex will be rated M for Mature, so parents: this one aint for the kiddies. The game features an expanding story line featuring the characters from the two films (GitS:Innocence hit limited release earlier this fall) and gives players a cybernetic arsenal and the ability to ‘hack’ into machine and dead enemies to gain information, solve puzzles or just sneak by in plain view. A four player battle mode will be availble for split screen play.

Also, keep an eye out for the brand new animated series, airing on Cartoon Network starting November 6th.
