Trackmania Sequel Hits the Streets in June

Develepor and publisher, Enilght, announced the coming of their sequel
to a wild race title for the PC. Trackmania Sunrise boasts some decent
graphics with gameplay that combines Need For Speed with the flexibilty
of those make your own Hot Wheels race tracks.

Players can build outrageous race tracks to take their beaters out
onto, challenged by 360 degree loops, half pipes and incredibly tight
hair pins that could make for a decent race title. The game will
feature the ability to create, upload and trade custom tracks with
other players online. Though not specifically mentioned in the
announcement, it’s predecessory featured both LAN and online
multiplayer modes as well as several single player modes to keep the
unconnected playing and/or designing.

The original was touted for unique gameplay and lasting appeal, though
publicly it gained little attention. Look for TrackMania Sunrise early
June, 2005.
