Neither win nor lose
I discussed my post below with a friend of mine on AIM and we reached a good mutual agreement:
Buddy: not
voting is NOT a solution to a problem……BUT if you actively
campaigned people not to vote as a means to an end, it BECOMES
something more
Me: is it
too much of a stretch to say that voicing my opinion, publicly (in a
blog, or in an email conversation amongst several others), is a way to
actively campaign (convince) others?
Buddy: if your voice reaches people
Buddy: its simply that
10,000,000 individuals not voting on their own appears to gov’t &
the news as people not caring….its unnews-worthy….10,000,000 people
actively not voting together is a weapon
